At Academy Of Rock we strive to empower children with abilities by utilizing music as the vehicle to establish a connection, allowing them to discover an alternative way of communicating and expressing themselves.  Our programs are creating new pathways for children and others with developmental abilities and emotional challenges to come out of their shell and begin participating in life like everyone else.

 

Through interacting with them musically one-on-one and in group settings, we are helping these children move away from their instinct to isolate themselves, lessen their obsessive, compulsive, and repetitive behaviors, and most importantly, to improve their communication and self-expression.
